Jérôme Tricomi is 25 y.o. and currently working as a project coordinator for Les Petits Débrouillards.
After a bachelor in philosophy, he decided to quit his studies to get more involved in civil society; he felt that the knowledge built behind the walls of universities wasn't in touch enough with the rest of society.
He spent six months doing a civic service with Les Petits Débrouillards, then got involved as an administrator of the organization, and then got recruited as an employee since 2016.
In 2017, he got involved in the work of AlliSS, a French organization advocating for closer ties between research and civil society, and participated to a seminar in Strasbourg on the 3rd mission of University and then in Montpellier. This engagement allowed him to deepen his views on the subject, and to start working more actively on participatory research and research-action in the frame of his job.
Jérôme is the co-founder and co-president of the Observatory of Citizenship in Engineer's Schools, a research-action program aiming to study and transform the place of the "3" citizenships (ecological, social and democratic) in higher education, specifically in engineers schools.
